Jacob Murphy, Reporter
Jacob Murphy joined the CBS 58 team in June of 2025.
He is originally from the Dallas, TX area and then went to the University of Missouri where he graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. After spending some time working at KOMU, he fell in love with news and decided to pursue it as a career.
He spent three years as a reporter in Northwest Arkansas, where he covered some of the biggest tornadoes in Arkansas history and the 2024 solar eclipse.
Jacob is a huge sports fan outside of work and is always keeping up with his Boston teams. He was born into being a Boston sports fan but is ready to root for the Bucks and Brewers - if they are not going up against the Celtics or Red Sox!
He's excited to trade in hot summers for the great Milwaukee summers and call Brew City his home.
