CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man charged in the death of 45-year-old Vincent Torres in a drive-by shooting has been sentenced to 25 years.
Christian Jackson, 32, was charged with first-degree reckless homicide after prosecutors say he shot towards Torres from a moving car near 11th and Lapham on June 4, 2025.
Police say he shot at Torres after getting into an argument with Torres' son.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jackson was arrested three months later.
Torres' family told CBS 58 that they are happy with the sentencing and wants to spread the message to put down the guns.
