MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 45-year-old was fatally shot near the corner of 11th and Lapham in Milwaukee, according to police.

The shooting took place Wednesday, June 4 at around 9:30 p.m., police said. The victim suffered fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

MPD said the investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have yet been identified.
