RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- From supper clubs to steakhouses and everything in between, Wisconsin is known for its fabulous restaurants. Each with a style and cuisine that makes it unique.
It's no secret the industry has been devastated by the pandemic, but now there's a new collaborative effort to support them.
This summer, Roundy's partnered with local publication OnMilwaukee and Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation to compile a cookbook inspired by the menus at several Wisconsin restaurants. The Wisconsin Restaurant Cookbook features more than 40 recipes with 100% of proceeds going to fund grants for local restaurants struggling to rebound from pandemic shutdowns.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Rose Schmidt showed how these groups came together to help restaurants turn the page and begin a new chapter.
