CBS 58

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The shooting at a Milwaukee wedding reception, started as an argument - over meatballs.

It happened last Saturday, June 20, and police say the suspected shooter was part of the wedding party.

Police say groomsman Thomas Williams was told by the bride's cousin to stop eating meatballs with his hands and use a plate.

That's when Williams punched her in the face, causing her brother-in-law to get involved.

According to a criminal complaint, that's when Williams shot them both.

Thomas Williams is now charged, and police say he's still on the run.

Both victims survived.
