MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — CBS 58 welcomed Stacy Oatman from the Wisconsin Humane Society to introduce this week's Pet of the Week, Wanda, an adorable 2-month-old kitten looking for her forever home.
Wanda is currently available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society's Milwaukee Campus.
Oatman also highlighted the organization's growing need for fresh produce to help feed wildlife patients currently in its care.
The Wisconsin Humane Society is seeking donations of fresh greens, including romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce and kale, as well as wild-picked greens such as dandelions, sorrel and clover.
Additional requested items include berries, melons, grapes, apples, oranges, broccoli, carrots, green beans, zucchini and sweet potatoes.
Officials say these donations help provide nutritious diets for the many injured and orphaned wild animals being rehabilitated at the society.
