Staying mostly dry as the reminders of last week's blizzard go away

NOW: Staying mostly dry as the reminders of last week’s blizzard go away
NEXT:

It was a week ago that we had the most impactful storm of our winter season. We woke up last Monday to blizzard warnings resulting in 5-15" of snow on the ground in many areas and winds gusting over 60 mph at times. For a blizzard, you don't technically need a lot of accumulating snow but it's the persistent strong wind gusts and resulting near-zero visibility that makes it treacherous.

A week later when you look outside, it's hard to believe it was so wintry. We have officially melted all of our snow not just in Milwaukee but also Madison, La Crosse and Eau Claire. Green Bay only has a few inches on the ground and Wausau is down to 6" after seeing over 20" during the storm.

We don't have any accumulating snow in the forecast, but a few flurries are not out of the question on Tuesday. Some sprinkles and flurries might be possible Tuesday, especially in the morning. Otherwise, expect a mostly cloudy sky both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wednesday will be warm enough where the chance for flurries goes away but some sprinkles might still be a possibility.
