One Dead after Car Crash in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner confirms to CBS 58 that they were called to the scene of a fatal crash at 27th and Wells in Milwaukee.

The fire department received the call at 6:01 PM and tells CBS 58 the crash involved two cars where one car t-boned the other.

According to the Milwaukee, one of the vehicles was westbound on Wells and disregarded a red light, colliding with southbound vehicle in the intersection with 27th Street.  

A 64-year-old woman, a passenger  in one of the vehicles was fatally injured and died at the scene.  A second person in that vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries. The severity of those injuries is not know at this time.

No one from the second vehicle was injured.
