The flashy girl from Flushing returns in Racine Theatre Guild's take on 'The Nanny'

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Theatre Guild will close its 2024-25 season with a parody of the 1990s sitcom "The Nanny," bringing the show to the stage in a campy tribute.
"The Nanny: A Fine Parody" will be performed by Purse Strings Productions on Saturday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 15 at 2 p.m. at the Guild’s venue at 2519 Northwestern Ave.
The show reimagines the classic series with a drag and theater twist, following Fran Fine as she becomes an unlikely caretaker in the uptight Sheffield household.
Described as a "fine" parody, a release from that Racine Theatre Guild says that the show will aim to lean into the show’s signature flair, blending nostalgia with tongue-in-cheek comedy.
