Opening weekend is here for Slinger Speedway
We've been enjoying some milder air the last couple days. That's thank in part to lower dew point levels. Check it out:
We can still anticipate comfortable humidity over the weekend, but things will turn a touch more muggy, especially by Sunday. I always say 60 degrees is the benchmark for when you can feel the humidity in the air. That's about where we level off Sunday. It's also when we could see a few showers and storms, especially during the first part of the day. There's an even better chance for showers and storms by Monday afternoon and evening. Those storms look to fade out by early Tuesday. Then we'll be looking at seasonably cooler 70s for much of the week. However, summer is not over just yet! By Friday and through the following weekend into that next week looks to find a warm up. It would not be out of the question we hit 90 again in Milwaukee. Here's the latest climate outlook: August averages three days in the 90s and so far Milwaukee has one. That means a couple more 90s are typical before August wraps up.I'm meteorologist Rebecca Schuld
