MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee bike ride is uniting researchers, cancer patients, survivors, and many more in a mission to end cancer.
On Sun. Aug. 17, the Audaxity Bike Ride will peddle its way through the community, starting at American Family Field.
And every dollar raised through the event stays in Milwaukee, to support groundbreaking research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
Joining us during the CBS 58 morning show to talk about the ride was Dr. Gustavo Leone and Heidi Curtes.
For more information on the ride and the mission you can head to the organization's webpage.
