MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 43-year-old man is dead following a crash that took place Tuesday, Aug. 12 around 3 p.m. in Milwaukee.

He was identified by the medical examiner's office Wednesday as Derrick Milkie of Oak Creek. 

Milwaukee police say the man slipped onto the roadway from a bicycle and was struck by a driver near Grange and Howell. The driver has cooperated with the investigation and did not leave the scene of the crash.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office will be taking a closer look at the case.
