Man forces way into Fort Atkinson school, says he will release dog into building

FORT ATKINSON, Wis. (CBS 58) – A man forced his way into Luther Elementary School in Fort Atkinson on Monday afternoon.

School officials say the man was not armed but threatened to release his dog into the school around 2:45 p.m.

According to the school district, 911 was called and the building was put on lockdown. School officials say police arrived and took the man into custody.

School resumed as normal on Tuesday.
