MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Make Art MKE will take place Sunday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Mount Mary University campus.
The outdoor event will showcase more than 160 artists and makers offering fine art and handmade goods, as well as food trucks. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
Mike Bate, owner of Lit MKE, joined us on Tuesday, Sept. 2 to discuss Make Art MKE and how its legacy began to carry the torch after the Mount Mary Starving Artists’ Show ended following more than 50 years. The new fair is sponsored by re:Craft and Relic and Lit MKE, with a goal being to spotlight local small businesses and supporting the local community.
