WAUKESHA COUNTY (CBS 58) – Employees of Generac Power Systems in Waukesha County are heading to the Carolinas Friday morning to help with Hurricane Florence relief.
The company manufactures home generators. Five teams of two will work to fix all types of portable and standby units.
Last year, the company sent volunteers to help following Hurricane Irma.
Authorities in the Carolinas are anticipating 1-3 million people will be without power.
