Lake Geneva Fire Department called to fire at Aerial Adventures Zip Lines

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) --The Lake Geneva Fire Department was dispatched to report of smoke coming from a structure at 302 Townline Road, Aerial Adventures Zip Lines.

The first arriving engine found a well-involved structure fire within a converted Pullman rail car.

The fire was quickly extinguished but there was extensive damage to the structure and the family pets were killed.

"We are always thankful for our partnerships with City departments and automatic aid from neighboring fire departments," said Chief John Peters. "Through a coordinated effort, we quickly placed the fire under control and minimized loss."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
