KENOSHA COUNTY (CBS 58) – A car went into the Fox River near 6000 Hwy W. in the Wheatland Thursday morning, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the 20-year-old driver was able to get out of the car on his own and was helped to shore by a passerby.
The sheriff’s office says inattentive driving was the cause of the crash. The driver was the only person in the car and was not hurt.
There’s no word on possible citations at this time.
