Alderman Willie Wade Announces Retirement

Alderman Willie Wade announced his plans to retire at the end of term on Tuesday. 
He announced at Gee's Clippers on West Fond du Lac Avenue. 
Wade is the 7th District Alderman. 
He was first elected during a special election in April of 2003. 
In 2012 he was elected to his fourth term with 98% of the vote. 
Wade has lived in the 7th District for more than 40 years and has spent more than 27 years working for the community, according to the Milwaukee Common Council's website.
