MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Get your relish ready because the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates Wednesday afternoon, and that marked 12 consecutive wins for the Crew -- meaning George Webb Restaurants will be giving out free burgers!
The "12 in a Row" free burger promotion dates back to the 1940s, and became official in 1965 when the prediction was painted on George Webb Restaurant walls.
The giveaway has only happened twice -- once in 2018 and once in 1987.
But hang tight, fans. You'll have to wait until Thursday, Aug. 14 at noon to find out when you can get your free George Webb burgers.
