SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a single motorcycle crash in Sheboygan County

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened at around 4:20 a.m., along Lakeshore Road and County Road MM, in the Town of Mosel.

Officials say preliminary investigation indicates the operator of a Honda Motorcycle was traveling Northbound on Lakeshore Road, when they lost control and crashed into the westside ditch.

The operator, a 40-year-old man from Sheboygan, was pronounced dead on the scene. 

The incident remains under investigation.
