UPDATED: JULY 7, 2026, 11:20 A.M.

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 27-year-old She'Raad Groves.

The ME's Office says that Groves died after being extricated out of the vehicle. 

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - A 28-year-old is in custody following a car crash on Milwaukee's northwest side, on Friday, July 3.

Milwaukee Police say that driver and a 27-year-old in another car were traveling down Appleton Avenue at around 9:01 p.m., when they collided near 77th and Congress. 

Police say the 27-year-old died on scene. The other 28-year-old driver was arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.
