Waukesha seniors celebrate Galentine’s Day
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As the new school year approaches, many local families are preparing to shop for supplies, clothing and shoes. Footwear specialists recommend parents consider their child’s daily routine before buying the next pair.
Megan Sajdak joined us on Wednesday, Aug. 6. She is a Certified Pedorthist and Director of Marketing at Stan’s Shoes. Sajdak said parents should ask questions about school dress codes, gym needs and how active or hard on shoes a child is before choosing footwear.
She also advised against hand-me-downs due to changes in shape from previous wearers. Children’s feet should be measured at each shoe fitting, as size changes can occur in as little as three months.
Stan’s is offering 10% off select kids' shoes Aug. 7 through Sept. 7 and is supporting the Children’s Wisconsin School Room Fund.
