MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- People in Wisconsin may be seeing an increase in raccoons with something called distemper disease.
According to the Wisconsin Humane Society, they've already seen a few of these cases because the weather is getting warmer.
The disease makes the raccoons seem almost like zombies, wandering around aimlessly and growling.
The disease could be potentially deadly to small animals if they catch it.
People with the DNR say keep a close eye on your pets when you are outside and don't let them interact with wild animals.
