Kayaker found dead in Lake Ivanhoe, identified as 64-year-old Kenosha County man

TOWN OF LYONS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Walworth County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim Monday as 64-year-old Kenosha County resident Thomas Sater.

TOWN OF LYONS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a drowning at Lake Ivanhoe Thursday, June 25.
Deputies were called around 3:20 p.m. about a kayak floating in the middle of the lake. When deputies arrived, they found the kayak upside down about 150 yards offshore. Officials determined a man in a life jacket near the kayak was unconscious.
When rescue teams recovered the kayaker, he was pronounced dead just before 5 p.m.
The incident is under investigation.
