CBS 58 TOWN OF LYONS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a drowning death at Lake Ivanhoe Thursday, June 25.
Deputies were called around 3:20 p.m. about a kayak floating in the middle of Lake Ivanhoe in the Town of Lyons. When deputies arrived, they found the kayak upside down about 150 yards offshore, and a white man floating next to the kayak, wearing a life jacket.
The man didn't respond to deputies and they determined him unconscious.
When rescue teams recovered the man, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
