Former Racine County teacher sentenced for stealing students' prescription pills

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A former Racine County teacher put a student's life in danger by stealing his prescription pills.

Kevin Brodzik is serving 18 months probation. 

He was a science teacher at Fox River Middle School in Waterford. 

Brodzik stole medication from three children and then added other pills to the bottles. 

One of those kids missed an open heart surgery because he had been taking the wrong medication.
