Flurries and sprinkles possible the next two days with a better chance for showers for Brewers Opening Day
After a sunny and chilly day on Monday the clouds have increased. The mostly cloudy sky will likely stay with us most of Tuesday and Wednesday and part of Thursday. Those clouds could result in a little bit of precipitation. Tuesday morning had a few reports of flurries and as temperatures warm up a few sprinkles might be possible.
Here was the radar image from early Tuesday morning with the flurries:
More sprinkles might be possible Wednesday. Similar to Tuesday, some dry air at the surface could prevent most of the precipitation from reaching the ground but at least some showers are possible.
Thursday has the best chance for precipitation over the next three days with a decent chance for showers. The better timing right now looks to be in the afternoon and evening. The roof at American Family Field will likely be closed for Brewers Opening Day with the chance for rain.
With the few flurries that flew around Tuesday morning, we see snow chances a bit harder to come by this time of year. On Sunday, the 22nd, the average date for the last inch of snow in Milwaukee came and went. The average date for the last tenth of an inch of snow will come up in April on the 11th. But Milwaukee has seen snows as late as May 11th!
