WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Youth sports could look a lot different next school year.
Children's Wisconsin hosted a roundtable Wednesday to provide some advice to parents about how to keep kids safe on the playing fields.
One thing seems clear -- social distancing and other measures will likely still be in place.
"You've got to approach that team and that organization and this is where it helps to look at the CDC guidelines, and just kind of run through a checklist of what you think sounds safe and reasonable to you," said Dr. Kevin Walter of Children's Wisconsin. "Are the coaches going to be wearing masks, how are you going to keep physically distant, how do you limit contact and transmission?"
Your own pediatrician or doctor are always good resources to help you make these decisions.
