MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's inaugural Bravery in Bloom Queer Arts Festival is taking place this Saturday, May 16, hosted by Courage+.
The free, family-friendly street festival will take place from noon-6 p.m. along S. 21st St. between National Avenue and Pierce Street.
Attendees can enjoy live music and interactive art activities, including the creation of a large-scale butterfly mural led by acclaimed artist Jeremy Novy. Community members will be invited to help paint areas of the mural on the Courage+ apartment building.
