2 families displaced following early morning duplex fire

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An early morning duplex fire in Milwaukee has left ten people displaced.

It happened at a two-unit home near Reiske Park around 3:03 a.m on Thursday, Jan. 13.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, a resident called the fire department when they smelled fire inside the residence. When crews arrived they found a full fire.

It took crews about 20 minutes to get the fire under control. Two families are displaced, which includes five children and five adults. 

The Red Cross says they are helping those displaced.
