MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 14-year-old boy is expected to be okay after being shot Tuesday evening.
Police say the teen and a friend were driving a stolen car near 26th and Legion around 7:30 p.m. When the car stopped, an unknown person confronted the two and fired several gunshots into the car, hitting the victim. After being shot, the victim drove away but crashed into other cars near 14th and Burnham.
The victim was eventually taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
MPD continues to investigate the incident and search for a suspect.
