MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman says her mother was beaten and left for dead in a vacant lot and Milwaukee police are not doing anything to find the suspects.
Last Saturday, Nov. 2, 48-year-old Catrina Miller was found in a field near 35th and Clarke.
She's been in the hospital ever since, with serious brain injuries.
Milwaukee police say there's no evidence of foul play.
The woman's daughter says she disagrees.
"Whatever happened, happened when she was in the house and someone took her out and placed her over there," said daughter Chiquita Miller. "Because she does not run away, she does not go out without a coat on definitely in the winter time, definitely that time in the morning, she won't do it."
The family is asking that if anyone saw anything that morning to contact police.
