Wisconsin's winter utility shutoff moratorium ends April 15

CBS 58

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin residents with outstanding utility bills are urged to make payment arrangements before the state's winter moratorium ends Wednesday, April 15.

The moratorium prevents utility providers from disconnecting heating services due to nonpayment during the winter months.

Once it expires, anyone behind on their bills may be at risk of disconnection.
