GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's a sign that summer is on its way!
Another beer garden opened in Milwaukee County Wednesday, April 29.
Wednesday's gloomy weather didn't stop people from coming out to celebrate!
And with that, Whitnall Beer Garden is officially back in business.
Elected officials joined the community to kick things off at Whitnall Park in Greendale.
There was free beer and root beer, which made up for the weather.
"What's really great is we redid part of the Oak Leaf Trail so you can ride your bike here, we enhanced parking, so that's parking great and it just makes me really happy to see families come out and enjoy," said Guy Smith, executive director of Milwaukee County Parks
Whitnall Beer Garden will be open Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the weekend.
If you don't drink alcohol, there's N/A beer and soda.
Estabrook Beer Garden opens tomorrow.
