West Allis bar loses alcohol and entertainment licenses after unanimous council vote

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The West Allis Common Council voted unanimously Friday, May 15 to revoke the alcohol and entertainment licenses of Blaque Bar & Bites.

City public safety officials alleged the bar's owner, Martin Sinclair, used the establishment to sell drugs. The complaint also cited repeated ordinance violations including serving customers as late as 3:30 a.m., multiple noise violations for loud music, connections to at least 11 OWI arrests and police calls for large fights and drug arrests outside the bar.

Officials also reported people being hospitalized or found unconscious from drinking.

The vote to pull the licenses was unanimous.
