MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We might squeeze out low 60s on Tuesday. Then expect cooler temperatures for the rest of the week. We're talking lots of 50s along with 30s at night. We could have the frost factor in play, especially Thursday and Friday nights, depending where you live. Make sure to bring in the tender plants and vegetation to play it safe or cover them with a sheet or burlap and then uncover them by mid-morning. Look for a milder trend into the weekend with more 60s. A few showers can't be ruled out for Wednesday and possibly Thursday. These will be nuisance showers and won't amount to too much.

Recap from Monday's wind event...

A wake low pressure set up across the metro Milwaukee area, especially along the lakefront. We had collapsing showers and storms, causing a gush of air rushing to the surface. 50 to 70 mph wind gusts caused so many issues. Unfortunately, this type of weather event is just about impossible to forecast. This is why it's great to keep on top of the weather, especially during severe weather season. The CBS 58 weather app is a great way to do so.
