Toy expert shares summer picks, from World Cup gear to indoor games

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marianne Szymanski, founder and president of Toy Tips, joined us Monday, July 13 to talk about her toy recommendations for keeping kids busy indoors and outdoors this summer.

Soccer-themed picks tied to World Cup excitement included the Strikesphere Soccer Bot, an indoor soccer opponent, along with the Strikesphere Counter Ball and FanZone Soccer Trivia game. For younger children, Szymanski highlighted the Brio Pullback Train, a Life-Size Tie-Up Shoe designed to teach shoe-tying, and a solid wood drum from Plan Toys.

Also featured were Beanie Baby Bouncers and Toy Story 5-themed Squishmallows.
