MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Stella's Playground is one step closer to reality. The playground will become the city's first universally accessible and inclusive playground.
The idea came from now-10-year-old Stella Schneider and her family after she was diagnosed with brain cancer.
Stella's mom joins us to speak more about what this milestone birthday means and to give an update on how fundraising efforts are going.
The project has raised approximately $1.2 million of its $2 million goal, according to the Stella's Playground website on Friday. To learn more about the playground, click here. To make a contribution, click here.
