MCTS spring service changes to shorten 5 routes
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The weather through most of the winter has made it hard to argue with the constant reminders that spring is on the way, and Skylight Music Theatre is embracing that fact by bringing "Spring Awakening" to the stage.
The Tony Award-winning musical is premiering in March and focuses on the journey of adolescence, but with a unique twist: it combines spoken word with American Sign Language and more, with the goal of bridging the gap between the deaf and hearing worlds, with a cast made of both deaf and hearing participants.
To learn more details about the production, we were joined by Michael Unger, Artistic Director at Skylight and co-director of "Spring Awakening" on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
