MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Judy Cohen of Lakeside Educational Services returned to see us on Tuesday, May 26 to answer viewer questions submitted in response to her ongoing special education series.
Cohen addressed questions about how many times parents can request IEP revisions, what happens when a child doesn't meet criteria after a speech and language evaluation, who is responsible when a special education teacher is absent and whether parents can request specific participants at IEP meetings.
She also covered what to do when teachers haven't received a student's IEP accommodations and how high school students with IEPs may qualify for ACT testing accommodations.
