SLINGER, Wis. (CBS 58) – This weekend’s snowstorm made for some great conditions to hit the slopes on Sunday, Nov. 30.

Little Switzerland Ski Hill in Slinger opened for the season on Saturday, Nov. 29. Dozens of people grabbed their skis and snowboards and made their way to the hill.

"This is my hometown hill, we live five minutes away from it, I just love this place so much," said Kenzie Livangood, a 4th grader from Slinger who brought her snowboard to Little Switzerland on Sunday. “Just the sign of yesterday, that it gave us snow coming down, so nice, slopes were so nice. I hope it’s going to be a perfect winter this year. I’m going to hopefully try to be back every single day.”

Low temperatures allowed for the ability for crews to make snow. The snowstorm just added to the excitement, according to General Manager Greg Fisher.

“I think there have been a lot of people for the last two winters that really haven’t seen this snow,” said Fisher. “It’s great to see everybody out enjoying it on a long holiday weekend, too. You can’t beat that.”
