Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Mocha
SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Shorewood Library is scheduled to host a community event on Tuesday, April 14 centered around the book "Happiness Falls," which features a character with Angelman syndrome, a rare genetic disorder affecting about one in 15,000 people.
Amanda Moore, CEO of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, will moderate the discussion.
She joined us earlier Tuesday alongside two local mothers raising children with the condition, who talked about what life has been like since their children's diagnoses and what they wish more people understood about Angelman syndrome.
