Racine Zoo welcomes second baby bighorn sheep, needs help with a name

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo welcomed a baby girl bighorn sheep on Wednesday, May 20, born to Helga, the second lamb born at the zoo in just over a week. Mantis delivered a boy on May 12.

Both lambs are part of a trio of Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep that recently joined the zoo. The zoo is asking the public to vote on a name for the newest arrival on its Facebook page.

Bighorn sheep are the largest sheep native to North America. Males can weigh up to 315 pounds, and their iconic spiraled horns can weigh as much as 30 pounds.
