KANSASVILLE, RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine County man is dead after crashing his motorcycle along State Highway 20 on Fri. June 6.

Officials say at around 3:15 p.m. they responded to reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Washington Avenue, near the intersection of N. Britton Road, in the western Racine County Town of Dover. 

Crews found the lone motorcyclist about 75 feet south of the paved roadway. 

Witnesses said the motorcyclist had been traveling westbound on STH 20, then passed multiple vehicles before crashing and causing major injuries. 

The patient was transported to a nearby Flight for Life landing zone but ultimately died at the scene due to their injuries. 

Racine County Sheriff's deputies and the Major Crash Investigations Unit in investigating the crash.
