WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) - The West Allis Police Department responded to a robbery at a Speedway on Wednesday, June 3 near 91st and National.

According to West Allis PD, just after 3 a.m., an employee of the store contacted police when a male entered the store threatening harm if she did not provide money from the cash register. The male took cigarettes, money, the note and fled on foot. 

Officers and a K-9 unit were unable to locate the suspect after searching the area. The suspect was described as a Black male with a dark blue or black sweatshirt. 

The investigation is ongoing.
