MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle near 60th and Silver Spring Friday, April 10. 

Authorities were called to the scene around 6:38 a.m.

Police say a driver traveling southbound on N. 60th St. was attempting to turn left onto W. Silver Spring Drive when they struck the 52-year-old pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Milwaukee police say the driver, a 26-year-old man, was arrested. Charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

An investigation is ongoing.
