MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some former Green Bay Packers made a stop in Milwaukee Tuesday.
Nick Collins and James Jones kicked off a healthy summer program with kids from the Boys and Girls clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
Both were part of the Boys and Girls Club when they were kids and say it's had a positive impact on them.
"A lot of life lessons that I use to this day I learned at the Boys and Girls Club," Former Packer James Jones said. "So it's an honor to be here, I'm glad I could be here."
"It allows you to open up more, learn how to be around people, talk to people," said Former Packer Nick Collins. "And also just give you that comfort -- in case you have issues at home and everything, you have somewhere to go."
Kids were able to participate in six activity stations.
The healthy summer program encourages young people to stay active, eat healthy, and form positive relationships.
