MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Next Act Theatre is set to present "The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity," a play by Kristoffer Diaz that examines the world of professional wrestling.
The production features actors Adrian Feliciano and Levin Valayil, both of whom joined us on Tuesday, Sept. 17 for a preview of the show.
The story follows Chad Deity, a champion wrestler, and Macedonio "The Mace" Guerra, a wrestler who is paid to lose but aspires to tell his own story, taking a look at the themes of ambition and identity within professional wrestling.
Performances begin Wednesday, Sept. 18, and run through Sunday, Oct. 6, at Next Act Theatre on South Water Street. The play runs for 2 hours and 20 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
