New Berlin city employees honored for service

A great big hug for a well deserving employee.

Tuesday, the City of New Berlin took the time to honor some of its longest serving employees. Co-workers nominated each other for the awards handed out during the luncheon. The MVP went to Al Klaus, who's worked in the Public Works Department for 17 years.

\"I've had jobs before and it's push, push, push. All they're worried about is get it done, get out of here, you know everyone here is really good. They like what you do for them,\" Klaus said.

Al says he probably wouldn't have been recognized if it weren't for his three fellow assistant mechanics. He was quick to point out how hard they work too.
