MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- About the night Morgan Geyser ran from her group home in Dane County, before she was found hours later at a Chicago-area gas station.
Geyser is one of the two girls convicted in the 2014 "Slender Man" stabbing in Waukesha.
Now, we're hearing the 911 call from the morning after she escaped, nearly 10 hours after her ankle monitor stopped working.
The caller said Geyser was last seen getting her medication around 8:30 p.m. the night before.
Three hours later, the group home staff told corrections officials she was gone and that she cut off her monitor.
Three corrections workers were disciplined for their lack of action - one of them was fired.
After her arrest in Illinois, Geyser is now back in custody at a state mental health facility.
