Milwaukee Police: 48-year-old man shot near 24th and Clarke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating an afternoon shooting.

Police responded to the shooting shortly before 2 p.m. on Friday in the 2600 block of N. 24th Place.

A 48-year-old man was shot and is not forthcoming about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The victim is being treated for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. 

Police continue to search for a motive and suspects.
